Last week my husband en I were for a few days in the deep south of the NetHerlands, in Zuid-Limburg. Nature is beautiful there and we like to go for a walk or for a cycle tour in the surrounding landscape, fruit orchards and lovely villages.
It was very hot, so we also had to spend a lot of time out of the sun and under a tree. A good opportunity to reed magazines and books. I had the new book of Nancy Crow with me and I enjoyed it.
We also visited good friends Jan and Jose, my lovely niece Tanja and her friend Giel, and my quiltmate Heidy. On the photograph you see her at work. Heidi and I visited the African museumshop, were we bought some goods. In the afternoon we tried something with paint and stamps. And of course we took some pictures of each other.
I feel very at home when I am in Zuid-Limburg. In september we are going for another week there.
