Last week we were an a vacation in Ouddorp.
We had all type of weather, lots of shunshine, rain and storm. We enjoyed sunsets, beautiful bark of trees and the company of one of our daughters with her two children and her husband.













Afgelopen week waren we voor een korte vakantie in Ouddorp. We hebben daar alle soortenweer gehad, veel zon, veel regen, veel wind en zelfs een flinke storm.
We hebben genoten van zonsondergangen, mooie structuren op boomstammen, pootje baden en het gezelschap van een van onze dochters met haar twee kinderen en haar man.













Vandaag zijn we naar Leiden geweest. In het wevershuisje was een tentoonstelling van Steekplus. Interressant om te zien, alleen miste ik een paar aangekondigde textielkunstenaressen. Het Wevershuisje op zich was al de moeite waard, nog in authentieke staat zoals het al eeuwen was. Het huisje stond er al in de 16e eeuw. In de wijk hebben we aan de hand van een boekje een interresante wandeling gemaakt waar heel wat over de geschiedenis van de wijk te leren was.



Today we visited Leiden and especially an exhibition in a little weavershouse from a textilegroupe "Steek Plus".
This was an nice exhibition, and the little house was also very interesting. It was build in the sixteen century and the situation in the house was as it was centuries ago.
In the neighbourhood we made a walktour. There was a little booklet you could buy in the weavershouse and in it was a description of the promenade with a lot of information of the history of the inhabitants, the poverty, the houses, the work the people had to do and so on.
