Two weeks ago Nettie and I took our textile works back from the museum "De Kantfabriek" where they were exhibeted for seven weeks.
I don't know yet how many visitors were on the exhibition.

On the firth of april the new exhibition in "De Kantfabriek" started. An exhibition about theatre clothes. The clothes on the photo on the left side from the revue Snip and Snap I saw more than fifty years ago live in Carre in Amsterdam.
It is a nice exhibition, linked to some aspects of the Floriade in Venlo, a world exhibition.
Other costumes are f.i. the patchworkcoat from Joseph from the musical Joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat and the operette the Mikado. Al the costumes are really worn in a theatre production.
Well worth to go for a visit.

Twee weken geleden hebben Nettie en ik onze textielwerken teruggehaald uit het museum "De Kantfabriek" waar zij zeven weken zijn tentoongesteld. Ik weet op dit moment nog niet hoeveel bezoekers er zijn geweest tijdens deze tentoonstelling.
Op 1 april is in de Kantfabriek een nieuwe Tentoonstelling geopend, een tentoonstelling over theater. De twee jurken op de eerste foto zijn van de revue Snip en Snap die ik meer dan vijftig jaar geleden live heb gezien in Carre in Amsterdam.
Het is een mooie expositie, gelinkd aan de Floriade in Venlo, een wereld tentoonstelling op het gebied van Landbouw.
Andere costuums zijn bijvoorbeeld de patchworkjas uit de musical Joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat en kleding uit de operette de Mikado.
Alle kleding is ook echt gedragen in een theateruitvoering.
Het is de moeite waard om een kijkje te gaan nemen.
