Yesterday I visited the Friends day of the Nederlands Textiel Museum, now called the Audax Textiel Museum. A lot af friends there. There was a rehearsal of "High Tech, Low Tech" in textiles. Very interesting. Afterwards was the opening of the Exhebition European Art Quilts IV, an exhibition worth to see. On the picture you see the front of the catalogue accompaning the exhibition. I met a lot of friends ans acquintances of the quilt scene. Again a nice day.

Gisteren bezocht ik de vriendendag van het Nederlands Textielmusuem. Tegenwoordig heet het Audax Textielmuseum. Veel vrienden van het museum bezochten deze dag waar o.a. een lezing werd gegeven over de tentoonstelling "High Tech, Low Tech" in de textielkunst. Heel interessant.
Daarna was de opening van de tentoonstelling European Art Quilts IV.
Deze expositie is voor quiltliefhebbers zeer de moeite waard om te zien. Op de foto zie de voorkant van de bijbehorende catalogus.
Ik kwam weer veel vrienden en bekenden uit de quiltwereld tegen. Opnieuw weer een hele leuke dag.
