A week ago we visited again hte south of the Netherlands, Zuid-Limburg.
And again we enjoyed the landscape and the typical houses made of wood, straw and loam. The weather was fine, so we could do a lot outsight. With the group of campers we visited i.e. the Ceramique Centre in Maastricht. There was an exhibition of plates, dishes and bowls made and decorated in the Art Nouveau style. I like this style very much, so for me it is a lot of inspirations. I bougt the catalogue from the exhibition so I let inspire me whenever I look in this book.
Een week geleden waren we weer een weekje in Zuid Limburg. Het weer was prima en we konden veel buiten doen. Met de groep kampeerders waar me samen mee waren hebben we diverse excursies ondernomen, o.a. naar het Centre Ceramique in Maastricht. Ik ben gek op Art Nouveau en Jugendstil. In het Centre was een tentoonstelling van Sfinx met aardewerk uit die periode, met geweldige decoraties erop. Ik heb het boek gekocht en laat me daardoor inspireren. De vakwerkhuizen roepen ook associaties op met patchwork.
